Recent research (Šoškić et al., 2021) demonstrates that most ERP research reports do not contain sufficient detail in their methods to know which path has been taken, hampering reproducibility, replication, and meta-science. ARTEM-IS (Agreed Reporting Template for EEG Methodology-International Standard, https://github.com/Remi-Gau/artemis_checklist) for ERP is a web-app template that includes detailed questions and allows users to report the methods of an ERP study thoroughly and accurately. In this workshop, we will first highlight the importance of reporting methodology in a replication-friendly manner and then discuss research findings on some of the common pitfalls in reporting ERP methods. Second, participants will be guided through the ARTEM-IS web-app for documenting ERP studies. Finally, participants will have the opportunity to contribute to designing and refining examples and instructions in the web-app, and provide feedback on how to improve the web-app, and they will be credited for this contribution.
